Estatesearch – Women in Wills Update November

The Estatesearch team are celebrating a brilliant start to Autumn, with our most successful month to date in October. With two new products launched already this year, we thought we would add a third to the mix with a brand-new bolt on search being added to the portal in early November.

A look back on October

We were absolutely thrilled to once again support The British Wills and Probate Awards in sponsorship of the ‘Afterparty’. This fabulous evening was topped off nicely with us being Highly Commended in the Legal Supplier category.

Emma was on the road speaking at the Society of Will Writers conference, where we were once again exploring the benefits of cleansing will bank data to ensure you remain in touch with clients. We recently had a brilliant success story with Stephen Rimmer LLP who have embarked on a will bank data cleansing project and “are seeing a great response to our outreach to existing clients with one in four either reviewing their Will or carrying out some other work with us.”

New! High Net Worth Bolt on Search

There is estimated to be 2.86 million individuals residing in the UK who fall into the ‘High Net Worth’ category, a figure which is predicted to rise to over 4 million in the next 3 years.

When dealing with HNWIs for probate purposes, cases are often more complex as assets can be held across diverse portfolios. This presents a higher degree of risk for private client practitioners dealing with such estates, especially when it comes to identifying the full extent of the client’s financial footprint. IHT bills are likely to be higher and there could be contention amongst beneficiaries.

From the 11th November, clients will be able add our brand new High Net Worth Bolt-on Search to their Financial Profile Service orders, extending the search to an additional 115 institutions.

The search supports your due diligence when ascertaining the assets of those considered to have high net worth and is designed to help you identify profiles held by organisations such as;

  • Coutts and other private banks
  • Evelyn Partners and other wealth management firms
  • The Royal Mint for gold investments

For more information on how our new High Net Worth Bolt-on can assist you on those more complex cases, or for information on any of our other services please get in touch with your Estatesearch account manager or contact Emma Baddaley emma.baddaley@estatesearch.co.uk directly.
