Pippa Shepherd, Head of Customer Engagement at Arken.legal will be hosting and discussing Moving Firms with Emma Bryson and Natasha McKeever from michelmores LLP

Natasha McKeever

Natasha McKeever is a Partner in Michelmores Disputed Wills, Trusts & Estates team. Her practice extends from Will challenges and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act (1975) to trust disputes, including removing/defending trustees, tracing assets, and disputes between beneficiaries. She also deals with disputed Court of Protection cases, particularly in respect of Statutory Wills, financial abuse and freezing injunctions.

Natasha prides herself on taking the burden and stress away from her clients, navigating them through the difficult litigation process, while they are often still grieving the death of a loved one. She thrives on building extremely close relationships with her clients to truly understand the history of the dispute, and ensure she knows exactly what they want to achieve.

Natasha was described in Legal 500 2025 as “a charismatic leader. She softens her robust determination with a disarming charm. Clients adore her.” Natasha is a full member of ACTAPS and an Associate member of STEP, most recently completing the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes.

Emma Bryson

Emma Bryson is an Associate in Michelmores Disputed Wills, Trusts & Estates team. Emma regularly represents clients bringing and defending all types of Will validity claims (including fraud or forgery claims), and deals with claims against estates under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

Emma also specialises in professional negligence claims against Will writers or solicitors, trust disputes including claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA), proprietary estoppel claims and financial abuse claims. Emma also deals with Court of Protection matters and has a particular interest in contested Statutory Will and lifetime gift applications and deputyship applications.

Emma was described in the Legal 500 2025 as “amiable, confident” with “solid technical knowledge. She’s an excellent associate.” She is a full member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners).
